A simple scale that contains the first five notes of the C Major scale.

Half notes whose lengths are increased by half; equal to three quarter notes.

Silence that equals the length of one quarter note.

A technique that requires the player to pick up and move their hand to a new position; usually from a five finger scale to another.

One of the landmark notes; the C an octave above Middle C.

The note one step above Treble C, a 5th above Treble G, or a 4th below High G.

The note two steps above Treble C, or two steps below High G.

The note a 4th above Treble C, or a step below High G.
