Scenes from an Imaginary Ballet
"Scenes from an Imaginary Ballet" is the longest and hardest piece of this collection and could serve any concert hall level pianist. Adventurous, with plenty of differrent sections, and elements, it runs from scene to scene, without really stopping. It would benefit from a hand span of a 10th, but as there are none played at the same time (only in a melodic fashion), it is not necessary. Practicing each section individually is a must and one should be very careful with the expression of this piece, which changes every once in a while.
