Prelude
"Prelude" was a title used for the beginning of a larger section, but nowadays it has taken a form of its own. This one is a jazz prelude really, with peculiar chords, from the very first two beats of the piece (EGBbDbEb). Like most ragtimes, it has a jumping left hand, and a right hand which goes off to some solo adventrues sometimes.
