Carl Reinecke

A composer, pianist, teacher, and conductor of the Gewandhaus Orchestra in Leipzig. He studied with Felix Mendelssohn, Robert Schuman, and Franz Liszt and was professor of composition and piano at the Leipzig Conservatory. His compositions for piano are mainly instructional in nature.
